Victorians in Dublin


this photo is a flea market find. I don't know if the men are military or policemen, nor who the ladies in the front row are. I can tell you the photographer's name, he is James H McLean,

HER MAJESTY'S ARMY'.
The Duke of Connaught was Prince Arthur (1850-1942), son of Queen Victoria. (I always have to look up the names/titles of Queen Victoria's children).

  1. How odd that they're all looking in different directions. Maybe an effort to make it look less formal.
