in front of the station . . .

in Alexandria, Egypt, early 1940s.  The man is Arthur who compiled an album of snapshots of Alexandria from the time he was there and sent it home to his folks in England.

  1. Arthur sure stands in front of an impressive and regal looking building. My wife would shoot me if I wore socks like that with my shorts, but I understand it was the style of the time! ;-)
