Madame Tussauds

  1. I've never been to Madame Tussaud's and I hadn't given much thought to how long the place has been in existence. It turns out she made her first wax figure in 1777!

  3. It was the late 1970s when I visited Madame Tussauds, main attraction being the chamber of horrors. I can't remember if it was there or the museum of London (visited on the same holiday) which had the very good recreation of the East End around the time of Jack the Ripper.
