holiday snaps (3)

  1. My first thought was Blackfriars Bridge in London, but I am probably wrong. Nice photo though.

    1. I think I was misleading in thinking it was a bridge, also I should have mentioned that this series of snaps are in either Belgium or the Netherlands :)

  2. It's the Martyrs' Square (Martelarenplein) in the centre of Brussels. Today all the buildings are white so I didn't recognize it.

    The bridge is in fact part of the crypt where the victims of the 1830 revolution are buried. At the base of the monument there are four guardian angels and the Belgian lion.
